Welcome to North Wheatley Church of England Primary School! We are a thriving Church school, where every pupil is encouraged to reach their full potential. We provide a stimulating learning environment that enables pupils to be inspired, feel secure and highly valued so that they can flourish. Our staff lead by example and our Christian ethos is evident in the caring, happy and very positive atmosphere found across the school. Pupils’ spiritual, moral , cultural and social development is as important to us as their academic attainment.

The pupils, staff and Governors were delighted to be judged to be ‘OUTSTANDING’ in all areas in our February 2015 OFSTED inspection.

Our school is an important part of our local community, as well as the wider community, we take an active part in village life. Through our strong links with local churches and visitors into school, we provide a rich and meaningful curriculum to engage and motivate pupils.

Our beautiful school grounds provide plenty of opportunities for environmental studies, structured playtimes and development of expressive arts. The fitness trail and sports field are a real asset to school and we are delighted that our new school hall is used by pupils throughout the school day.

I believe that confidence in a good school comes from getting to know the individuals within it so that strong learning partnerships can be developed. We would love you to come and visit us so that you can find out more about our school, our values and how unique we are.
